Earlier in the year, I, along with Nic and our favourite girl Liz were lucky enough to catch The Black Keys down at Luna Park's Big Top. Long time fans, experiencing their driving, riff tearing blues rock live will remain favourites in our minds for along time to come. So you can imagine the sleep-wakening excitement I felt when I stumbled across http://blakroc.com, a new collaborative (there's that word again) project headed by the Akron, Ohio based boys. Hooking up with hiphop heavyweights including Jim Jones, Mos Def, Q-Tip, RZA, Raekwon, Ludacris, Pharoahe Monch, NOE, Nicole Wray, Billy Danze and the late Ol' Dirty Bastard. It's going to be MASSIVE. And I don't even like Hip-Hop. Watch out Kanye, this could be the greatest ever.
